Nice car, Pete!

I always liked those Biturbos, thought about buying one a couple times. I bet it's a blast to drive.

FYI, do NOT skimp on the maintenance schedule, especially oil changes. Those turbos get hot and tend to "coke up" old oil into carbon which can foul the turbo bearings and that's not good ($$$$$). I'd recommend at least a semi-synthetic oil if not a full synthetic.

Enjoy it!

Mike,

Thanks for the advice. I definitely intend to keep up on the maintenance. I just got a new Optima battery today and am going to flush the coolant system on Sunday.

I actually have the original owner's manual as well and it has a recommended maintenance schedule. 30K seems like a big number and has me checking and lubing all kinds of stuff. So, hopefully within the next month or so I'll get everything checked out. I want to replace the fusebox as well because I hear they are temperamental and have a bad tendency of catching on fire. It looks like I'm about to dive into the world of internet after market parts buying ;) should be fun. Know of any good import parts sites?

She is fun to drive, that's for sure. The turbos are a kick, literally, but the steering is a bit tight, no tip of the finger parking but she corners like a dream.

This can be the start of our car-blogg. Write in with info about your ride. P
